PARASTAR PROTECTION LAUNCH

In collaboration with PT Parastar Echorindo (Parastar) and Telkomsel, PT Asuransi CIGNA launched the Parastar Protection insurance scheme on January 30th, 2008 at 9Clouds Lounge, Menara Jamsostek, Jakarta. Parastar Protection gives accidental insurance benefit with a total coverage of Rp 5,000,000 to individuals purchasing simPATI PeDe and Kartu As cards at all SentraPonsel 's outlets and to all Parastar dealers who are over 18 and below 65 years of age. The insurance is valid for 60 days after the date of purchase.

A unique program, it features swift claim application procedures. Anyone submitting a claim will only have to submit his insurance certificate (given at the time he buys his Telkomsel simPATI PeDe or Kartu As), a proof of purchase of Telkomsel simPATI PeDe or Kartu As card, and an active Telkomsel cellular number (at the time of claim submission).

The launching ceremony was full of excitement and attended by reporters from both printed and electronic media. Also present at the event were Mr. Harry Hartono – PT Parastar Echorindo CEO, Mr. Richard Tan – Commercial Director and Mr. Gatot B. Haryono – VP Sales from Telkomsel, and Mr. Ian Cooper – President Director and Ms. Christine Setyabudhi – Deputy Country Manager, from PT Asuransi CIGNA. Reporters covering the event were all given free Telkomsel Kartu As cards and the privilege to enjoy the insurance protection.
